The law requires us to have a privacy policy, and this policy only applies to Juzstay (Juzstay.com), not to the websites of other companies, individuals, or organisations to which we provide links to our websites.

Use of Your Information

We collect your information for the safety of our platform users and guests who book through Juzstay, to understand who we are accommodating at our partner properties, and to ensure the safety of our employees. Furthermore, website user and visitor data is collected for statistical purposes. We also collect our visitors’ nationality, date of birth, and gender for statistical purposes. We may automatically log your IP address when you visit our websites (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet). IP addresses are used to help us manage our websites and to collect broad demographic data for analytical purposes. We send confirmation emails to guests who make reservations, so we will need your email address. Exceptions may be made if we need to contact previous guests regarding post or lost property.

We do need some information from you in order to confirm a reservation. Typically, this will include:

We require a full 16-digit debit/credit card number, name on the card, card type (we accept VISA, Master card, or Maestro), three-digit security code, and expiry date in order to serve our services through all channels (telephone, website, or smartphone application, but not limited to). Furthermore, we may charge a monthly subscription fee if the user subscribes to a Juzstay membership and authorises Juzstay to charge the card on a regular basis (monthly/quarterly/bi-annually/yearly) based on the type of membership selected. The user has the option to cancel their membership at any time. Juzstay indemnifies itself for all data used on third-party websites/agents and reservations made through them. Personal Information of Guests Juzstay values guest privacy and will not sell or disclose personal information to any other person, business, or third party unless an emergency arises and/or it is deemed necessary as part of our duty of care.

Updating Guests’ Contact Information

Our customers come back to us on a regular basis. It is your responsibility to notify us if any of your personal information that we have on file for you needs to be updated. If you have booked accommodation with us and we suspect we have false information about you, we may contact you at any time.

Website Safety

The Internet is not a safe channel. However, we have implemented various security measures, such as firewalls, to prevent unauthorised access to our website.

Third Party Websites

Our website contains links to numerous other websites that promote their products and services to our visitors. Juzstay indemnifies itself for all data used on third-party websites/agents and reservations made through them. Please review their privacy policies and terms and conditions.

Photography and Film

There is no need to obtain permission to photograph or film on our property. We do, however, recommend that you obtain permission before photographing or filming other guests who are not in your group. On occasion, we may hire film or photography crews to film or photograph our properties for promotional purposes. If you do not want to be filmed or photographed, you must leave the filming or photography area voluntarily.

Disclosing Guests’ Personal Information to Third Parties

Aside from that, we will not disclose any personal information without your permission for the purposes specified in this policy, unless we are legally required to do so (for example, if required to do so by court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud).

Your Rights

By submitting your information to us, you agree to the use of that information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. You may request that we provide you with any personal information we have on file for you at any time. You may also choose to add, modify, or delete information about yourself that we have on file for you. The provision of such information is contingent on you proving your identity and full address with a utility bill and a valid photo ID.
